Planetside 2 mumble crosshairs1/9/2024 With this update, users will need to reset their specified crosshair due to a change in the way the program handles the image. I apologize for essentially adding a popup, but it was born out of an observed need and can be removed in seconds. This will hopefully help alleviate this problem, while experienced users can very easily turn off the startup screen by pressing "Remove" on the component. Startup screen, since many users were unaware that they could use custom images. This is primarily for easy access of the most popular crosshairs. They are: cross, small cross, tiny cross, and dot, all in three colors (green, purple, red), as well as the default white dot. The total number of preloaded crosshairs is now 13. Most popularly downloaded crosshair styles are now preloaded, with colored variants. Are crosshair overlays allowed? Won't I be banned? To contact me directly, please send a Reddit PM to /u/ashleyapb.ġ. Of course, any number of programs can be used as well, such as GIMP or Paint.NET. Make sure that the space around your crosshair is even, as the Recursion Crosshair Overlay will automatically center an image, not necessarily the crosshair inside of it ( good, good, bad). Draw your custom crosshair image, then save it (remember to set the size of each pixel as 1px) and copy the downloaded PNG into the "Crosshairs" folder. There are many types of crosses, with and without dots and gaps, as well as three-prong "Kobra" crosses:Ĭreating a custom crosshair overlay image is easy, and can be done very quickly using free online tools. You get a choice of numerous dot sizes, with and without borders: The crosshairs compiled by Iris come in a variety of colors: Simply download the image you would like to use and save it to the "Crosshairs" folder.Īn incredibly large collection of crosshairs can be found at this Google Drive, courtesy of Iris. To restore the default white dot, right click the variable and select "Restore Defaults".Ī larger set of premade crosshairs from the legacy. The preloaded crosshairs are shown below: Right click the "Crosshair" component and click "Open Directory" to reach the mod folder, where the "Crosshairs" folder is contained. I've been accused of being a cheater because my play skill doesn't match my averaged stats (which are lower) but my average stats include half my PS2 game life, when I had far less skill. The Recursion Real-Time Stat Tracker now has a built-in configurable crosshair overlay! It features automatic centering of images, the ability to use any custom user-specified image for the crosshair, an easy way to toggle its visibility on demand, and immediate updating so you can change the crosshair in seconds if desired. But, my KD will never reflect that unless I start a new character, which I'm not doing just to pump the KD. I used to suck horribly when I started Meekalew, but now I can often hold my own against top tier, MLG players at least come out 50/50. also ending sessions with 3-4 KD session average. and despite that, will often go on 20+ kill streaks, can defend a hill from half a squad solo, and 7-9 kill streaks being common. My character Meekalew (my first PS2 char) has a 1.68 KD. as it may include your history as an inexperienced player. What your average KD is doesn't anywhere near represent what your actual 'current' KD is. My character SteelPrincess only has a 2.01 KD, and often goes on 20+ killstreaks 7-9 killstreaks are common, and most sessions I will end with at least a 3-4 KD after playing for a few hours. Im not saying PantylaoVS hacks, but he only had a 2.8 KD and suddenly went on a massive 15 streak after dying to that TR guy. You'll see mediocre players with low KDs suddenly turn into planetside gods while their killboard spikes. Obviously not judging form the video though.Īlso, some people activate their aimbots when they rage or really want to kill someone. I sent a ticket asking if it was ok last year and they said you will get banned for it.
